Motorola's Droid Bionic smartphone is finally going on sale this Thursday through Verizon for a price of $299.99 with a two-year data plan.
And while $300 may seem a bit steep off the bat for just about any smartphone, the Bionic, first announced close to a year ago, is packed with some of today's top features, such as a dual-core 1-gigahertz processor, an 8-megapixel camera capable of shooting 1080p video and 1 gigabyte of RAM.
The Bionic also features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 4G LTE connectivity, an HDMI port for hooking up to a TV and 16 gigabytes of on-board storage with an SD-card slot to add up to another 32-gigabytes of storage.
So, is it all that worth $300? I just got a Bionic review unit Tuesday and am testing it out. Check back on the Technology blog on Saturday for my impressions.
