Reasons to Use English to Spanish Translation Services

When you're trying to translate a document or set of documents from English to Spanish, using a software program may not allow you to get the right context or message across to the native-speaking audience. Translating a document written in English word-for-word into Spanish often results in missed meanings, mixed messages and poor grammar. Working with a professional English to Spanish translation company is a much better way to have your document or documents translated as accurately as possible.

English to Spanish translation services are available all across the globe, and many conduct business entirely online. This means you can upload your documents and then have them translated by professional, native-speakers within a very short period of time. This can take the burden of finding a native-speaker to complete the project off your shoulders. Here are some other reasons to use English to Spanish translation services:

1. Customized translations for certain specialties. Do you need to have a scientific manual or technical report translated? How about a set of marketing brochures for a new product or service? Many document translation companies offer niche services or specialized services where the translators have significant experience working or teaching in your field. This means the English to Spanish translation services will be much more accurate and you will receive a higher quality product.

2. Spanish localization options. If you are going to be using the translated documents for a particular market such as Spain, Venezuela, Peru, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Chile or Cuba, your document may need to be modified slightly to ensure the right dialect and words are used. A professional English to Spanish translation service can assess whether to use 'neutral' Spanish for your particular document, or if they need to localize the work so it applies to a specific group.

3. Fast turnaround time without compromising quality. Professional and experienced English to Spanish translation service companies will use a team of native speakers to perform the translation with accuracy. Few will rely on machines or software programs, so it's in your best interest to find out what the company's process is. A team of translators can use their experience, knowledge and skills to ensure the highest quality document.

Many companies choose to outsource their translation projects because of the ease of delivery and variety of services available. Working with a professional document translation company means you can count on high quality work, and keep track of the project throughout the process. Investing in this type of service also means you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that a professional and experienced company is handling the project from start to finish.

Overall, English to Spanish translation services offer many benefits over hiring a freelancer independently and hoping for good results. A professional and experienced company that manages a team of translators can offer competitive rates, and many offer guarantees for quality. Whether you're translating a marketing newsletter or a company manual for Spanish-speaking employees and staff members, using professional English to Spanish translation services may be to your advantage.

If you need translation services for a legal contract, financial statement, deposition, patent, letter, or other crucial document, Legal Translation Solutions provides document translation services and can complete it for you quickly and accurately.

Reasons For Using Website Background Music

Are you setting a new website for your product but don't know if you should include songs in it? Well, here are some of the reasons for using website background music:

When you use website background music, it helps to create a friendly shopping environment and relaxes your visitors. Well, this of course is only made possible when you have slow and enchanting music playing instead of those head banging ones.

Music in flash elements that are embedded in websites are very cool tools that could be used to create an interactive experience for the website visitor. Did you know that the kind of background music that is used actually helps with the company branding?

If you choose a fast paced song that is full of impact, then chances are your visitors will get the idea that your company is lively and full of vigor.

Flash music loops, website background music, streaming royalty free music are just some of the few kinds of media forms that you can embed in your website. Embedding them in your website will help you to stand out of the crowd and your website is no longer a commoner.

When you are creating a website for your product, most of the money would be spent on setting up the website and because of this, you would not want to spend too much money on choosing the right kind of background music to go in your website.

This calls for the use of royalty free music. Royalty free music are not copyrighted music, unlike the ones that you hear from the radio. For example, Madonna's songs are copyrighted so there is no way you are able to use them, unless you buy the license. This however is not the ideal method as getting license can cost you a bomb.

So instead of spending money unnecessarily, go for royalty free music instead. Royalty free music is not like any other music that you buy. Royalty free music can be used over and over again with no limit. As a purchaser, you have every right to use these royalty free tracks in videos and websites, without the need to worry about infringing the legal rights law.

So, all you simply need to do is to do a Google search and find out some of the links that offer royalty free music downloads. Purchase them and download them into your computer.

Upon doing so, you can edit them, mix and match them with other tracks to that it gives you the desired effect. Music loops are particularly popular in websites and blogs, so choose a song that sounds light and easy to the ears. Don't get the music blasting into your visitor's ears!

Most web developers are not in favor of adding background music into their sites simply because they fear of large audio files that might slow down the rate of the page loading. Well, now you no longer need to worry because there are new media files in the market. These files are called pre-made Flash music loops. These file types are very small and they have great sound quality too.

Adding background music into your website is no longer a problem! Do try them.

Top 20 Reasons Why Children Should Study Music

All you need to do is visit the kids' audio/video section of your local CD shop and you will be bombarded with a multitude of educational enhancement products to buy. You may find 'Baby Einstein' or 'Brainy Baby' and an abundance of similar merchandise to make your child smarter. These types of goods can be a wonderful way to introduce music to your children before the age of three. However, nothing can replace private music lessons for a 3 to 9 year old.

The brain develops at a rapid rate between birth and three and is an essential window for the development of neurons. Therefore, encouraging musical exploration is an easy way to promote intellectual development.

Before the age of three, toy instruments can be an excellent introduction to the real thing and group musical play classes can prepare a child for later study. Singing at any age is highly beneficial and linguistic & musical awareness can begin as early as the fifth month of pregnancy when the fetal brain and ears are wide open to receive stimulus.

From the age of 3 years old, a child's brain circuits are mature enough to begin instrumental and/or vocal lessons. Voice is probably the most important instrument because singing is a tremendous gateway to confident communication and full self-expression.

The piano is usually the best musical instrument to start with because it does not require any specific fingering to play. However, children should choose instruments to play by the sounds they like. Kids will practice more if they like the sound of an instrument.

If your child chooses the piano, inexpensive electronic keyboards are a good way to begin because they are very affordable and portable. Many brands on the market today will display the notes on a digital screen while music is being played. These types of keyboards can greatly assist a child to begin to read musical notes and symbols. They also often have built in rhythm and song functions that make singing and dancing along with the music easy.

Since Howard Gardner's "Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences" in 1983 and Gordon Shaw and Francis Rauscher's "Mozart Effect" in 1993, there has be much debate and research into whether or not music study can be linked to better academic performance.

You will find thousands of books, products, articles and websites discussing the advantages of studying music. For your convenience, the top 20 benefits reported for vocal and instrumental music study are listed below.

1. Music training has been linked to spatial-temporal reasoning skills. (I.e. ability to read a map, put puzzles together, form mental images, transform/visualize things in space that unfold over time, and recognize relationships between objects. These skills are often helpful in science, math, and chess.)

2. Musical symbols, structure, and rhythmic training utilize fractions, ratios, and proportions, which are all important in mathematical study.

3. Increases problem finding/solving, logic and thinking skills like analysis, evaluation and the linkage/organization of ideas

4. Optimizes brain neuron development & circuitry

5. Assists motor development especially coordination of hands, eyes and body

6. Expands multiple intelligences and helps students' transfer study, cognitive and communication skills from subject to subject in any syllabus

7. Group orchestra or ensemble activities help promote cooperation, social harmony and teach kids discipline while working together toward a common goal.

8. Music augments memory. For example, most people learn their ABC's by singing them. Repeating a tune in a predictable rhythmic song structure makes memorization easier.

9. Singing is a great way to aid/improve reading ability and instruction. Karaoke is a perfect example. Children may learn a song by ear (auditory) but words on a TV or computer screen provide a simultaneous visual anchor.

10. In vocal music learning rhythm, phrasing, and pitch greatly enhances language, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary skills. This is especially noticeable when using songs in first and second language study.

11. Improves critical reading and writing

12. Raises test scores, decreases performance anxiety, and teaches kids how to handle/manage stress during standardized exams

13. Helps children channel unexpressed and/or negative emotions in a positive way

14. Boosts creative thinking

15. Reading music and performing memorized pieces help children to think ahead

16. Improvisation helps people to "think on their feet"

17. Solo performance is connected to self-esteem & self-efficacy. (concept of self capacity) Children learn to reach for their very best.

18. When kids prepare and consistently practice for recital or performance, they work to sing/play without errors. They generally apply similar determination and perseverance to many future endeavors academic or otherwise.

19. Improves understanding of homework and enables a higher levels of concentration

20. Children who study music usually have a better attitude, are more motivated and are less intimidated by learning new things

Strong music reading, writing notation, sight singing (solfege), music theory, literacy, and moving the body to music are solid, transferable skills. Learning is a two-way street. For example, one can assume that mathematics can also develop music. Academic achievement links positively with musical achievement and vice versa.

As early as the 19th century, the visionary Dr. Maria Montessori included music and arts into her worldwide school curriculums to greatly enhance and accelerate learning.

'Lorna Heyge, Ph.D., says: "While educational leaders turn to early childhood music because it promotes brain development, they will stay with music because of the joy and stimulation experienced in actual music making. Music learning requires total involvement-that is why it appeals so much to young children."

The Five Reasons You're Not Licensing More Of Your Music

If you aren't licensing as much of your music as you'd like or if you simply haven't been able to successfully license any of your music, then most likely one or more of the reasons below is why:

1) Your Songs Aren't Good Enough - If you've been actively trying to license your music without success then this is the first place you need to look. Are your songs good? Are your songs great? I know this is a hard thing to be objective about but you really need to try to distance yourself a little and assess whether your music really is as good as other music that is being successfully picked up. Supervisors listen to a lot of music and they gravitate towards songs that fit the criteria for the scenes they need music for and for the songs that they simply like the best. Write great songs and people will take notice.

2) Your Production Isn't Good Enough - If you write great songs and you've been actively trying to license them without success then there is a good chance that your production is lacking. Your songs needed to be well produced and mixed and mastered in accordance with broadcast quality standards. If you're not sure what this means, simply go listen to 10 or 20 songs that have been successfully licensed and check out the production. How does your music compare? Music licensing doesn't have to be a guessing game. Study others that are successfully doing what you want to do and use that as a barometer for determining where you stand.

3) Your Music Is Too Obscure - Music that is licensed in projects like TV shows, films and advertisements is used to fit a specific need that the music supervisor has for the scene in which your music is potentially being used. Usually supervisors have a particular sound or style in mind when they are searching for music to use and usually they're looking for artists that sound similar to other popular artists. This one is tricky because I don't think in general it's a good idea to try and sound like someone else and I don't want you to feel like your stifled creatively when you're writing music. BUT, with that said, it's really important to be aware of what kind of music gets licensed if you're trying to license your music. Makes sense right?

I made a video about this topic awhile ago that I posted on YouTube and someone commented that great artists like Frank Zappa or Bob Dylan weren't concerned about this when they were writing music and I agree, they probably weren't. But they also probably weren't thinking about trying to license their music in TV shows and films when they were writing songs. I'm assuming you are since you're a reader of my newsletter, so just keep in mind that if you're writing music that is too obscure you're going to limit the number of places your music could be potentially licensed. You can write music that is commercially relevant and still be very creative.

4) You're Not Trying Hard Enough - If you're doing all of the above, writing great music that is well produced and stylistically relevant and you're still not having success in the music licensing business, then there is a good chance you're simply not trying hard enough. I occasionally hear about artists that have success very quickly licensing their music, but this definitely isn't the norm. Usually it takes a fair amount of persistence and effort to get started. You need to connect with the right people, find out about projects that need music and submit your music regularly in order to move forward in the licensing business.

Something I've written a lot about in the past is how success breeds more success. Once you start getting positive feedback in the form of getting accepted into publishing catalogs, music libraries, etc this will generate motivate the energy you need to keep going forward. Positive feedback is addictive, in a healthy way, and the more you get positive feedback from people in the industry, the more you'll want to keep forging ahead. I suggest that you make new contacts and submit your music to new places on a regular basis, every day if you can. Whatever feedback you get will give you information on how to move forward.

5) You Need More Time - Finally, if you're doing all of the above and you haven't been able to license your music, then you probably just need more time. It can take time for the right project to come along that is a good fit for your music. If you know you're writing great music and you know you're doing everything you can to promote your music and connect with the right people, then relax, have patience and keep moving forward. I personally only get frustrated when I know there's something that I'm not doing that is preventing me from having success. There's no sense in worrying about things outside of your control, so if you're doing everything outlined in this email, relax and know that you're on the right path.

Create, Produce, and Sell Your Music - 10 Reasons You Can do this from the Comfort of Your Home

1. You don't have to be an expert.

Create music the best you can, just get it recorded and

polish it up later. Rough tracks are not always a bad

thing. They can be an excellent starting point for a great

song. Many people can appreciate raw music and may even

want to collaborate with you to make your music even better.

Putting together music that isn't perfect is better than

keeping the music inside of you and not sharing your

creativity and talents with others.

2. You can create quality recordings without going to a

professional recording studio.

There is excellent home recording software and recording

devices available. Reading a manual, contacting customer

support, and visiting chat rooms can go a long ways in

helping you improve your recording skills. Don't be

intimidated. Play around with your recording device, or

recording software. If you are patient with yourself, you

can have a lot of fun, learn a lot, and your recordings can

really start to come together.

Also consider hanging out in a music store occasionally to

learn some great tips from other musicians. Sales reps are

normally more than happy to help you out and even share

their personal experiences they have had with a product. If

they don't have experience with the product you are looking

for, chances are they can find someone in the store who has

experience, or can direct you to the right place.

3. Home is your sanctuary, when you relax get your

inspiration from your environment then capture your

creativity in your recording. When you create music from

the comfort of your home your creativity can be limitless.

You can create, record, and sell music from home while

you're in your pajamas. Nothing wrong with that! A lot of

good creativity can happen at home...channel that into a cool

new song, and record it so you'll remember it for years to

come. You can mess up a thousand times, and no one has to

know. Practice to your hearts content, then record your

tunes as many times as you need to until you get the sound

that makes you happy.

You may also be able to tune out negative influences at

home, so that's a good place to foster your creativity.

Your home is a great place to kick back and relax, and when

you're relaxed and feeling good, or bad, this is a great

time to go play some music and/or lay down a couple of

tracks of music. You are free to work at your own pace with

no one looking over your shoulder, so that can be great time

to be creative and come up with some music ideas. Work in

the comfort of your home, be comfortable and relaxed, be

creative and show how unique you can be through your music.

4. You can create music as fast or slow as you want...go at

your own pace.

There doesn't have to be anyone pressuring you to lay down

your tracks at warp speed. You can record a track, go eat

some lunch, workout, then record another track if you

choose. You can lock yourself in your music room for as

long as you want if that works for you, and really make some

great progress on working out some licks, writing some

tunes, or even recording music. You don't have to pay for an

expensive recording studio, so you can take your time

creating your music.

5. Home recording trends are growing, and you can easily

take advantage of new technologies developed for musicians

just like you who want to record their music at home.

Resources are available to easily record music at home at a

very reasonable price, so no more excuses. Thousands of

people are recording their own music from home. They have

all different skill levels. There is a place for you out

there too...go get yours!

6. What you don't know you can learn from home using your

computer and some great online resources.

You can instantly download music lessons and work at your

own pace. You can join forums full of people just like you,

who are working on making their own music from home, and you

can share tips with each other. There are resources where

you get video demonstrations that walk you through different

processes e.g. playing a guitar...step by step.

7. The internet has endless possibilities and reaches

millions of people...get your good music in front of more

people on the internet and you can have more music sales.

You can sell your music right off of your website. You can

sell your music from an online music store. There are free

advertising resources available where you can get your music

in front of other musicians and prospective customers.

There are online communities for musicians who want to get

their music heard by others...you can offer support for other

musicians, and they can do the same for you. This can lead

to more CD and MP3 sales too. You can get your own online

radio station to play your music, or get your music played

on other online radio stations to increase your exposure.

The possibilities for getting your music heard are endless

if you take advantage of the power of the internet.

8. You have full control over how your music turns out.

You are creating, producing, and selling your own music. No

one should stand in your way. You can keep 100% of your

hard earned profits if you choose.

9. You can have a huge sense of accomplishments by creating

your music from scratch, producing it, and selling your own

music.

You are responsible for the music you create. A lot of

satisfaction can come with that...taking action will show you

that you can do it, like you always knew you could!

10. Don't underestimate your abilities. You may be a better

musician than you think. You can get your music out to the

public to let others experience your unique creativity.

You may not think your good enough to sell your own music,

but how do you know if you don't even try? Get your music

in front of others and let them appreciate all of your

creativity and efforts. For every person you think won't

like your music, there may be 10 others that do. Fear is

natural, but don't let it stand in the way of you achieving

greatness that may be within you.

There are some great recordings, and a lot of rough

recordings out there that may get some great buzz because

they are getting their music out there. Why can't you do

the same? Taking action is the first step. You may be a

better musician than you think.

Your music may sound pretty good to you, but get your music

in front of others, and they may be amazed on what you can

do. That interest, and/or amazement with your music can be a

great tool for fostering your motivation and creativity too!

Remember, you never know what you can do until you try. No

more excuses...you CAN Create, Produce, and Sell your music

from home. You have nothing to lose, so get started today!

5 Reasons CharlieSheen.com is not Winning

With all the Charlie Sheen eruptions in the news of late, I thought I’d look at the state of the most valuable rendition of Charlie’s name in Internet terms: CharlieSheen.com. It turned out to be a far gnarlier situation than imagined. CharlieSheen.com is on drugs. Here are five reasons why the domain in its current state, is far from winning:

1. CharlieSheen.com is Down

Charlie Sheen .com Not Found

Celebrity status aside, one of the most important aspects of a winning website starts with, well, being able to view it. CharlieSheen.com displays the  default ”404 page not found” page in any browser that requests the page. 404 is the http status code that occurs when a website is aka losing, aka not winning. 100% down time means no train wreck to watch. Listen and hear it crying out for web hosting.

2. Charlie Sheen doesn’t own CharlieSheen.com

CharlieSheen.com Whois Record

According to the current whois record, a Hot Rods company in Canada owns Charlie Sheen’s namesake .com. March 19, 1997 was a good day for the owner of CharlieSheen.com, but not for Sheen. Charlie starred in no less than five films that year. There probably wasn’t a lot of time for dealing with Network Solutions, the one and only domain registrar at the time. Now, even CharlieSheen.info is taken. But, why hasn’t Sheen bought CharlieSheen.com instead of spending on some of the other things we hear about? CharlieSheen.com could be a winning domain if only it were in Sheen’s hands.

3. Not Indexed by Google

Charlie Sheen's Ideal Domain: Pages Indexed

How much free organic search traffic do you think Google would send Charlie Sheen’s site if it had even one page indexed? How many natural backlinks would Sheen’s domain receive? How many of the 368,000 Googlers in the image below who typed “Charlie Sheen” into the search field would click through to the exact match .com domain? Getting indexed would be a quick and easy win for this celebrity, no doubt.

4. No Content

Charlie Sheen Content :)

Perhaps worse than a content farm and certainly more tragic is the conspicuous absence of web content on CharlieSheen.com. Whatever your opinion about Charlie Sheen, everyone agrees that he is a human viral content generating machine. Imagine the content that could fill the pages of a CharlieSheen.com curated by the Sheen.

5. Not Monetized

Charlie Sheen Keywords

The Google AdWords Keyword Tool suggests some words and their corresponding exact match traffic that CharlieSheen.com could potentially receive. How many of those 368,000 Googlers who typed “Charlie Sheen” into the search field would click through to the exact match .com domain? Would fans buy Charlie Sheen T-Shirts and DVDs? Would the consume Charlie Sheen news from the horses mouth?

And what about monetizing traffic from social media? A celebrity with 3 million Twitter followers and over half a million Facebook likes should be able to seriously bring it.

Let it be known that I am not a fan of Charlie Sheen’s domain strategy. But, does he really need CharlieSheen.com? There may come a point where celebrity brands can transcend the need for exact match domains that trolls like us to fawn over.
